Training on the Management of Obstetric Emergencies was successfully completed, bringing together healthcare providers from Temeke District Hospital and surrounding health centres.The training aimed to strengthen frontline capacity in the timely recognition and management of life-threatening obstetric complications, contributing to improved maternal and newborn outcomes.
The event was honoured by the presence of Ms Fidea Obimbo from the RMNCH Section of the Ministry of Health, and Dr Dominic Sunday, President of the Association of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians of Tanzania (AGOTA), whose participation underscored the national commitment to strengthening emergency obstetric care at district and community levels.
